12 volt Greensaver Silicone Batteries
« on: April 18, 2011, 04:26:45 AM »
I have these batteries in my three wheeler 13 Qty sp68-12v, I think the sp100-12's would be good for the solectria and Joe's PT cruiser if they fit. They have interesting specs just going to throw up some links
It has the power cheq equalizing models but it wants to go over 15 volts, I'm afraid of damaging the batteries. for now I'm adding a spot lamp in parallel to cause a voltage drop. I was able to equalize the pack fairly well and drove almost 15 miles today, the wife came too! anyone use the power cheq modules?

I use the PowerCheq modules on my scooter, but I don't know if I can answer your questions about them.  I don't monitor battery voltages on the scooter.  It uses 5 35 amp-hour batteries.  The PowerCheqs can only shift about 2 amps of power at a time.  I've got the user manuals and I could scan and send them you if your interested.
