http://www.yet2.com/app/insight/techofweek/43392?sid=390From the description I imagine that it could be used as a combination compressor/air motor. So I imagine a BEV/compressed air hybrid. The SGM could be coupled directly to the aux shaft on a WARP motor and all you'd need is some valving and a pressure tank to use the compressor mode for "regenerative braking" to charge up the air tank. Then, to start from a dead stop - the SGM could switch to air motor mode to give you the starting power. Once the air tank pressure is close to depleted or at a certain speed, the controller could kick into BEV mode. When you're rolling, the SGV is in "coast" or is uncoupled through an on-off clutch. When you tap the brakes - the SGM compresses air again. And so on.
