LiFePO4 batteries for Marine Applications
« on: October 21, 2020, 04:06:55 AM »
So I'm looking at Electric Propulsion solutions in the marine environment...
Traditional sailing boats typically carry a diesel power unit to drive a propshaft and generator for power to maintain lead acid batteries. Radios and navigation equipment require quality power.
The sailing boat application will call for various electrical supplies ranging from low power radio to cranking amps to start the generator or various power motors for winches etc.
I was given this link:

Do any of the members have any insights or additional comments?
I am also looking at charging alternatives such as solar and charging hookups at the marina/boat dock etc..
