The OpenEVSE project is an open-hardware EVSE and documents lots of good details about the J1772 standard, including the pilot signal and the various operational states of the interface. At the Aug. 2014 meeting, Ted Lowe will present the project and more details of the J1772 interface using the J1772.pdf file downloaded from OpenEVSE.
