Steve Kaufman, (the owner of the Porsche 944 called 5/12/2013) and has a battery issue with a different electric vehicle - a converted 1974 volkswagon that runs on 32 month old Interstate batteries (144 Volts) but only gets 4 - 5 miles range. Three of the cells were basically dead and he replaced number one with a compatible Duracell 29HM, 105 hours, 20amp cell.
That got the range up to 8 miles but he was concerned that replacing only a few cells like this would be bad for the whole pack. And if he were to replace one he should replace them all.
Recommendations for the existing batteries? Seems like with some attention he could revive the ones he has, but need input.
