Re:                  Lightning Electric Car to be Featured at EV Meeting

The Lightning Electric Car which made its’ debut in Madison, WI as a prototype in June of 2009 will be featured at the meeting of the Wisconsin Electric Vehicle Association in Madison on Saturday January 14, 2012.  The meeting will be held from 1-3 pm at Kayser Ford, 2303 W. Beltline Hwy, and is open to the public.  Persons interested in purchasing or building an EV will find much useful information from the EV’s on display, and networking with the other EV enthusiasts.

The Lightning is a street legal limited production automobile that features styling inspired by open wheel race cars and sprint cars of the 40’s and 50’s.

Plans for the Lightning in 2012 include participation in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, in Colorado this Summer.  Two time Indy 500 top 10 finisher, and USAC champion driver Herm Johnson has agreed to pilot our Lightning Electric Car for EnviroTech Racing.  The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the second oldest motor sports race in America and a long-standing tradition in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region.  First competed in 1916, this year marks the 90th running of the "Race to the Clouds."  The Lightning will compete in the recently added Electric Vehicle Division.  We are currently seeking sponsors for our effort.

Pictures of the Lightning are available on request, and I am available for interview at your convenience.  Hoping to see you there on Saturday.  Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely:
