Excellent article and excellent point.  I try to use Chargepoint and others whenever they are available even if I do not need a charge.  I had hoped to use a Chargepoint or other in New Lenox, but could not find one in range (lots of gas stations).  Really need to fix this so lithium is not the only battery and short range cars, scooters and other vehicles have available power.
