The Chicago Magazine recently published their April 2012 issue, and announced their Green Awards: Entrepreneur Edition to five local people. Former FVEAA member Brian Levin Brian, Partner at Carbon Day Automotive was chosen. Brian has been the real driving force behind the electric vehicle charging station rollout using Coulomb equipment. Other locals include Said Al-Hallaj, cofounder and CEO of AllCell Technologies (local manufacturers of Lithium batteries in a Phase Change Material to prevent overheating); Elise Zelechowski, founder of ReBuilding Exchange (recycler of building materials); Cassie Green, founder/owner of Green Grocer (specialized neighborhood groceries); Deborah Sawyer, president and CEO of Environmental Design International (an engineering firm specializing in reclaiming city land).
Both Brian and Said have been very active in the promotion of electric vehicles. We offer sincere congratulations to all five selected.
