MGB conversion request

Ted - We have a '76 MGB that we'd like to convert to a plug-in electric vehicle.
We would use it only for in-town pleasure driving with trips no longer than 35-50
miles between charges. Do you know someone in the Chicago or the southern Wisconsin
area that could do the conversion?  Any other advice on how we might proceed?
