I visited with a new EV conversion mechanic in Chicago. His name is Steve EK and he owns EK Automotives in Edison Park. STeve is a regular gasoline mechanic with his own shop, and he also completed a VW 1973 conversion this summer. He has a real cool garage and is very much into the environment and of course has the EV grin.
