2000 Chevy S10 Extended Cab - Converted EV
« on: March 21, 2024, 03:12:50 PM »
Just in case there is interest in the club below is "for sale" posting I just put up.

https://www.diyelectriccar.com/threads/2000-chevy-s10-extended-cab-converted-ev.210057/

As the posting says, I would consider parting it out if someone is looking at buying major components for a DC conversion and wants to buy used/proven (able to test) ones.

Contact me on miozub@yahoo.com if interested.

Thanks
Miodrag

Dropped the price for the truck down to $3,000. For somebody looking at a EV conversion with a DC system this is a value that is hard to beat.

Or, if anyone is interested in two of the following items, I may have to start taking the truck apart:
Chevy Volt Battery (rewired for two strings of 180V) - $800
Advanced DC motor (with only 3000 - 4000 thousand miles on it) - $900
MaxForcer 1200A/200V Controller (Just broken in - 500 miles or so) - $1000 ... these compare with Zilla 1000A LV and were ~$2000 when DIY EV conversions were a thing
