With my Mitsubishi I-miev going from Frankfort to Aurora, I try to take country roads so that I can go slower for longer range. The faster we go, the lower the traveling efficiency. On the way home, it was snowing. Quite well aware there is more road resistance with snow slush on the road. Took route 88 to route 59 and now I can go about 35 10mph below 45. Hooked up with route 30 going through Joliet to go on the way home to Frankfort.
epa rating of myy car is 128 MPGe city 99 MPGe highway. I believe all electric cars have the same pattern.
I remember there was a Tesla on a road track for how far it can go on one charge. They somewhere in the range of 30 mph and went around 725 miles. Slow is good. Especially when turtle looks like a certainty.
